Welcome to CV.dot. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Chrome Extension and website.

Account Information: When you log in, we collect basic profile information via Google OAuth (such as your email address) to authenticate your account.
User Content: We securely store the data you provide or extract, including your resume details, job descriptions fetched from job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed), and project history.
Payment Information: We do not process or store your credit card details. All payments are securely processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.

To provide and operate the CV.dot service, including optimizing your CV, generating cover letters, and integrating with third-party platforms like Canva.
To process your subscription upgrades (Pro and Premium) and manage your account status.
To improve our AI logic and features. Your data is processed securely through our backend (Supabase) and third-party LLM providers (e.g., Claude, OpenAI). We do not use your personal CV data to train public AI models.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with essential service providers:

Lemon Squeezy: For secure payment processing and subscription management.
Supabase: For secure database hosting and backend infrastructure.
AI Providers: To generate optimized content (e.g., cover letters, SWOT analysis).
